Lions Club of Bangalore Prerana is part of Lions International, District 317 E, chartered on March 2022 by Lion Sowmya B. A., PMJF as its Charter President.

The club was chartered with a team of 21 members who aspire to serve the less fortunate within the local community and to maintain a clean and green environment.

The focus areas of the team are

• Environment
• Health and Hygiene
• Education and awareness program
• Women and youth empowerment with skill development training programs
• Vocational training programs to build economic foundation
• Care for the aged and disabled
• Need based humanitarian services

Club Awards and Achievements

• 2022-23: International President’s Gold Medal, was awarded to the Club President Lion Sowmya B.A.,PMJF
• 2022-23: Model Club, 1st club in District 317 E to become 100% Model Club within 1 year of making the pledge.
• 2022-23: Club Excellence Award was awarded to the club, the very first year for the commitment towards service.
• 2023-24: Lion Sowmya B.A., PMJF was selected to be the Zone Chairperson of Zone-3, Region-2, District 317 E with 4 Club
• 2023-25: Lion Sowmya B.A.,PMJF was made LDSF Trustee, based on her commitment to service the society.
• 2024-25: Lion Sowmya B.A., PMJF was selected to be the District Cabinet Treasurer
• 2024-25: Lion Sowmya B.A., PMJF was awarded International President’s Appreciation Certificate for fulfilling mission of Lions International
