The donated books comprised of

1. Kannada to Kannada and English dictionary
2. Story books: Ramayana, Mahabharata, Dashavatara, Moral stories, Akbar-Birbal, Tanali Rama stories, Panchatantra, Pouranika stories, Janapadha stories, Grandfather stories, Vikram Bathal, 101 stories
3. Drawing and Coloring books
4. Slates and Writing pads
5. Pencils and Crayons

Children were so delighted to receive these books and art materials. Some of them started to read these story books and started checking what other books we had got for them.

Nagashri Book House of Jayanagar 4th Block, Bangalore donated some of the coloring books and puzzles book for these children. Its always good that children are exposed to reading habits at early age of their childhood.

Lions Club of Bangalore Prerana is planning to set up small libraries at Government schools, orphanages and old age homes.
